LivingBots OG marks the beginning of Tim Livingston’s journey as an artist on the blockchain. Originally launched in 2021 under a different name, Tim was inspired by Gary Vee’s VeeFriends and learned how to create through OpenSea’s shared contract from Nick Corso’s BitShields. This collection features the evolution of the foundational 26 LivingBots. Highlighting Alpha across various sub-series. This collection lives on both Ethereum and Polygon, where a free Polygon OG Badge was distributed to 151 early supporters. All OG holders later received a free mint to the now soulbound generative series, honoring their early belief in the project.
LivingBots Generative is a 5,555-piece collection launched using a ThirdWeb smart contract. Despite a vulnerability in the contract, now locked and soulbound, this collection had some success gaining a Mint Mink partnership with VeeFriends. While most of the supply remains held by Tim, patient holders have shown unwavering support. Plans are in motion to reward holders of this collection through a future free mint via livingbots.io/create. One-of-one holders of this collection have already recived a coresponding Silver Series token.
LivingBots Silver Series is a small and focused 26-piece collection that honors and expands the story of the Original 26 LiivingBots, Alpha through Zulu. Created as tradable replacements for the one-of-ones in the soulbound generative collection, each Silver Bot was a gift to those dedicated collectors. Now minted on Base (a layer 2 - backed by Coinbase) this series marks a fresh chapter. With a small supply and all of Tim’s owned pieces already sold, the Silver Series has become a collectible cornerstone of the LivingBots collectible universe.
The AbstractBot marks a real moment in LivingBots history. As the first GREEN Bot this collection represents resilience, creative freedom, and exploration. The green vibe matches the Abstract ecosystem as this LivingBot represents a symbol of artistic evolution. The sales of these AbstractBots enabled Tim to purchase Bearish NFTs and even gift one to a deserving student. It stands as a testament to the power of community, vision, and generosity.
